Leverage limits and how to lower yours

Leverage of up to 1:500 is available on both accounts. At 1:500, a position needs margin of 0.2% of its value. For example, 1 lot of EUR/USD at 1.1150 is worth $111,500 and needs about $223 of margin.

Your account's default leverage is 1:500. To lower it, contact us or your account manager.

We may limit leverage on new positions in instruments other than forex on Fridays from 21:00 to 24:00 (GMT+3), and sometimes before major economic news. We may also change margin requirements without notice.

Risk warning: CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
