Six steps keep your account safer:
Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) in the client portal under Settings → Privacy & Security. It's off by default. See 'How do I turn on two-factor authentication (2FA)?'
Use a strong password and don't share it with anyone.
Keep your MT5 login details private. You're responsible for all orders placed with them.
Check Active Sessions in Settings, and sign out any device you don't recognise. See 'How do I see where I'm logged in, or sign out other devices?'
Log out when you leave a device, and don't let anyone else use it while you're logged in.
Run virus checks on your device regularly.
