Does ACG Markets trade against me?

Who is on the other side of your trades

CFDs are traded over the counter, not on an exchange. As with any CFD broker, your contract is with us: under our Client Services Agreement, ACG Markets is the counterparty to your trades.

Clients around the world trade on our published prices. We build up market risk during each trading day, and our Risk Team manages it through sophisticated hedging strategies.

Our prices come from a tier-1 liquidity feed, which our dealing team aggregates so you get a competitive bid and ask at all times. We earn from the spread and, on Raw accounts, the commission.

Being the counterparty can create conflicts of interest. Our Conflicts of Interest Policy sets out how we identify and manage them. Under the policy:

  • our staff must put clients' interests before their own and the company's

  • we must not use information about client transactions for our own benefit

  • we must not provide services designed to influence prices for our own benefit

  • if a conflict can't be managed, we must tell you or decline to act

You can read the full policy on our website, under Legal documents.
