With a prop challenge, you usually pay a fee to take an evaluation, sometimes called a challenge. If you pass, you trade the firm's capital under the firm's rules, such as daily loss and drawdown limits, and breaking a rule can mean losing the account.
With ACG Markets, you trade your own CFD account with a regulated broker:
No evaluation: there's no challenge to pass or pay for. You can trade as soon as your account is approved and funded.
Your profits: any profit you make is yours, after trading costs.
Your rules: there are no daily loss limits, profit targets or time limits. You manage your own risk, within your margin and our 50% stop-out level.
Your strategy: scalping, hedging, news trading and Expert Advisors (EAs) are all allowed.
Your money: you can ask to withdraw whenever you like, back to the card or account you deposited from.
Protection: we're regulated by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA), client money is held in segregated accounts, and negative balance protection means you can't lose more than the money in your account.
The trade-off is that you're trading your own money. Your losses are real, and you can lose everything in your account. In a prop evaluation, the most you usually risk is the fee.
Your ACG Markets account is separate from any account you hold with other Alpha Capital Group companies. See 'How is ACG Markets connected to Alpha Capital Group?'
